AI answering service

When your team cannot answer, the inquiry still matters.

Choose a coverage plan, define the questions to ask and give staff a call record they can review. An answering service can capture a request without pretending the work is already booked.

01 · Cover

Choose the hours you need covered.

Lite answers during configured business hours. Starter and Growth include 24/7 inbound answering after setup and activation. Coverage is a plan choice, not a promise of an immediate response from your staff.

02 · Capture

A message with context, not just a number.

Capture the caller’s name, reason, service interest and callback preference. Qualifying questions should come from your business, not assumptions about a customer.

03 · Follow through

Give your team the next step.

Staff review the inquiry and decide how to respond. A captured quote inquiry does not calculate a price, dispatch a technician or place an automated follow-up call.

Your connection checklist

Keep the number. Verify the forwarding.

Existing business line

Carrier-supported forwarding can send calls from your existing number to the configured receptionist line. Confirm the correct method, activation and fallback with a test call before relying on it.

Texts are separate

Voice forwarding does not forward SMS. Texting requires Callenova confirmation of the approved business, number, consent and designated ownership. Independent multi-business SMS remains unresolved.

Before the first customer call

Give it your playbook.

Approve a greeting and intake questions, choose coverage, save your hours and time zone, and define when a caller needs a person. Configure and test the phone connection.

Complete activation and test your greeting, intake and fallback. Verify forwarding with your carrier; voice forwarding does not forward texts.

Review setup

Know where people take over.

An inquiry is not a quote, repair diagnosis or dispatched job. Outbound campaigns and automated follow-up calls are not self-serve features. Call records and recordings depend on availability and applicable consent requirements; these examples do not certify a live provider result.

Lite covers configured business hours. Starter and Growth include 24/7 inbound answering; scheduling requires a supported plan. Lite takes messages and does not transfer; transfers go only to numbers you set. If a person is unavailable, capture a callback request; do not promise an immediate response.
